About Disneys Caribbean Beach resort

Disney’s Caribbean Resort is a moderate hotel and consists of six brightly coloured “villages”, aptly named after popular Caribbean islands such as Aruba, Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad, all of which surround a 45-acre lake named Barefoot Bay. Each of the villages are made up of clusters of two-storey buildings all of which have their own swimming pool and playground and offers cabanas and hammocks for relaxing moments in the sun. The main pool complex at Old Port Royale is themed like the colonial Spanish fortress Fuentes del Morro. It boasts 2 water slides; one is over 80-feet-long and zips through the inside of the fort. The pool also features zero-depth-entry, water cannons and 2 12-person spas. Children less than 48 inches tall can enjoy the adjacent water play area, which includes squirt hoses, a large bucket that pours water from above and 3 additional smaller water slides.
