Disney's Port Orleans Riverside is a Moderate Resort hotel re-creating the down-home appeal of the Louisiana Bayou and Magnolia Bend; both exhibit the distinct characteristics of the mighty Mississippi and the upriver adventuresome and elegance of the late 1800’s in the Deep South. This charming Southern-style resort hotel is set along the Sassagoula River and is just a stone’s throw from Disney Springs and Epcot.
The hotel’s main pool area is located on Ol’ Man Island, a 3.5-acre refuge with a swimmin’ hole and a fishin’ hole. Fashioned after an abandoned sawmill, this pool is accessible by 3 wooden bridges and includes a 95 foot-long rustic waterslide built into the millworks. There are 5 additional leisure pools—3 in Alligator Bayou and 2 in Magnolia Bend—are available throughout the Resort.

The casual restaurant overlooks the Sassagoula River and serves breakfast and dinner. Menu items include hearty breakfasts, steaks, prime rib, seafood dishes, Southern specialties, and a full-service bar.
A working cotton press operated by a water wheel acts as the centrepiece of this food court. Several different stands serve burgers, sandwiches, pasta, chicken dishes, salads, and more. There is also a country market loaded with pre-packaged items. Beer and wine are available. The food court is open from early morning to midnight and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This night time-only lounge is outfitted with a bar and overstuffed chairs next to a fireplace. Snacks and refreshments are served. The Roost is open daily from late afternoon to midnight.
Fresh-baked pizza is available for room delivery from late afternoon to midnight every day.
Open from late morning until dusk, this poolside bar offers, snacks, and refreshments.
All rooms sleep up to 4 people and feature 2 double beds, bath/shower, hairdryer, safe, iron/board flat screen TV with cable including the Disney channel and free Wi-Fi
Standard View, Garden View and Preferred rooms will sleep up to 5 guests but the 5the person must be aged 3 – 9 years. They cannot accommodate 5 adults.

Florida in the summer runs from June through to September with average temperatures ranging between 27°C in June and September and 28°C in July and August (hottest months of the year reaching highs of 33°C). If you choose to visit Florida in the summer, be sure to pick a room that is air-conditioned.
